  My personal opinion of this spam filter is that it is absolutely useless. And I hope others will just stop using them.
  
  I know email spam filters are a must these days and I use a few DNSBL services, but Spam Cannibal will never be one of them.
  
  From their site "The ONLY way you can get into SpamCannibal's database is by sending spam or virus ladened email to our mail servers!".
  
  I know of MANY sites that have never sent spam to their site and are blacklisted by them. So, that's a lie.
  
  What it really is, is that even if a particular IP has not sent spam, but an IP in the same netblock has, it may be included in a generic netblock which will provide many false positives.
  
  Also, they will blacklist you if you're running a generic PTR record which in some instances costs money to have the PTR changed. Nothing in the email standard says you can't have a generic PTR for a server.
  
  So.. again.. In my opinion, Spam Cannibal is total junk.
